Ladybug's 10th Birthday

For Ladybug's 10th Birthday she wanted a live band, so we hired a friend of ours to come sing. Her cake was one of my favorites. Here are some pics.

Ladybug's 9th Birthday Party

For Ladybug's 9th Birthday, we planned an art party. Here is her artist's pallet cake.

The "paint pots" are what we call Midget Cakes.

For the party, we used the entire back yard. We set up stations for the different types of Art. Here are some pictures.

Ladybug's 7th Birthday Cake

This was the first Birthday party I did for Ladybug. She wanted a princess party. Here is the cake we Kreated for our PRINCESS.

The round turrets are made of Styrofoam balls covered in pastel beads, the others are paper bathroom cups covered in glitter.

The turrets are glued onto plastic cake columns.

Stinkleweed's 12th Birthday

For her 12th birthday, Stinkleweed wanted a bowling party. She asked for cupcakes, which was great because they were easier to transport to the bowling alley. Here is our Kreation.

This is the topper.

149 cupcakes, 5 cake flavors, 4 icing flavors, and 149 decorations.

She loved it.

Stinkleweed's 11th Birthday

For her 11th birthday, Stinkleweed had a skating party. When I asked her for the outline for her cake, she said "Purple and not a baby cake". So here's what she got.

The cake is wrapped in purple fondant, with flowers, hearts, and peace signs.

The cake topper is a big pink C, and purple and pink tulips.

I think she liked it. Can you tell?

Stinkleweed's 9th Birthday

Just like every other 9 year old in 2009, Stinkleweed was a Hannah Montana fan. She wanted a Hannah Montana party. Here is what we created.

This is one of the simpler cakes we have done.

Here are a few pictures of the party area. Which was our living room that we emptied out.
This is the audience seating.

It took awhile to get the kids to stop being shy and get up there and have fun. But it ended up being a hit.

Boo's 17th Birthday

For Boo's 17th Birthday, she had a costume party. We turned the boy's bedroom into the party room. Here is her lime green and black polka dot cake.

The cake is covered in lime green fondant with black fondant polka dots.

The cake topper is a gift wrapping black and silver bow. And a large white candle.

Boo's 16th Birthday

For Boo's sweet 16 she wanted a messed up carnival. So this is the cake we created.

The hair is twizzlers.

Inside the mouth is Halloween Candy that looks like body parts.

These are what we lovingly call midget cakes with more of the body parts.

For the party, we created carnival games that were messed up, and a concession stand with strange names for the food. Here are some pictures.
This is Ray Ray as our fortune teller. She had a crystal ball (a globe from a light fixture), terot cards (I created them with crazy pictures), and a smoking bowl. She would give crazy fortunes, for example tell a girl she was going to receive a full athletic scholarship to play quarterback at the University of Alabama.

This is Ray Ray's Friend who was our Face Painter. He has no artistic ability. This particular victim asked for an Alabama A, instead he got the Auburn logo (kind of). If you live in the South you know that it is sacrilegious for an Alabama fan to even wear Auburn colors.

This was the concession stand.

This is the find the ball game. The cups had a magnet glued inside and the ball was metal. You couldn't win.
We also had balloon darts (with dull darts), Bobbing for Apples (in a big pot with dry ice), Shoot the Bottles (the bottles were glued down). The kids loved it.
