Ray Ray's 18th Birthday

This is the cake we came up with (me, hubby, and Granny) for Ray Ray's 18th Birthday. Her theme was Masquerade Ball.
Over 70 individual cakes wrapped in yellow fondant.

Black decorations made from icing and fondant. (Hubby helped with the fondant)

Hubby made the cake stand.

She had a "bar" with non-alcoholic drinks (including jello shooters, and champagne). We turned the boy's bedroom into the party room. Here are some pictures of the party room and the "staff".

Staff: Me (Hostess), Hubby (Security), Boo (Waitress), Ladybug (Waitress), Possum (Bathroom Guide)

This one has Granny (Bar Tender)

The Birthday Girl

She had a personalized Mask

This was one of the most enjoyable party we have done. The guests had a blast and so did the staff.

Ray Ray's 17th Birthday

This cake was for Ray Ray's 17th Birthday. She had a 80's movie theme. The cake is 17 individual cakes for each year of her life. The cakes were on Cd's. You can see I wasn't very good with the piping bag yet.

Ray Ray's 16th Birthday Cake

This one was for RayRay's 16th Birthday. She had a night club theme. The name of her "Club" was Club Dread, which was the reason Hubby wanted us to do a tombstone cake. It was a lot of fun.

"Dirt" is a common trend on our cakes.

National Treasure Cake 2010

Granny and I did this one for Stinkleweed's 5th Grade teacher's birthday. Her favorite movie was National Treasure 2 and Stinkleweed wanted to do something nice for her. So, Granny and I got in the kitchen and this is what we came up with.

This one was fun. No real pressure. We were able to get creative too.

Fourth Of July Cake 2008

I did this cake only because Boo requested it. It was the first one I did without Granny's help. Boo helped me get the cake baked then she decided she was tired so she went to bed (big mistake). Stinkleweed and Ray Ray helped me to finish it. Then we used the left over icing on Boo.

I had a blast baking this one with my girls, but we ALL agreed we would rather have Granny helping us. We were up till after 3 baking this cake, but it was so worth it the next day when we watched everybody enjoying it.
